That is pretty incredible. You have moved more than me. I have only moved:

New Jersey --> Florida (Jax then Tampa) --> Minnesota (TRF then GF) --> Missouri --> Oregon --> Minnesota (Fargo).

Where are you moving next?

At least not for another year since I renewed my lease 'til 6/30/2009. Probably the next move will be to a larger place that Mike and I will share. At least that's the theory. I see at least once more apartment in my future before we buy anything.

:O That's a lot of moving!

I'm living at the Riverknoll apartment this upcoming school year!

Yup, it is! I figure I am making up for the first 18 years of my life when I didn't move at all. :-)

Have they redone Riverknoll at all? The last time I was there it was still pretty crappy. But on-campus housing is on-campus housing!

Only five months in Minnesota? You need to give it another chance!

I know! I really miss Rochester and the people I met there sometimes. And Minnesota is just plain awesome.

What were you doing in Rochester? And how could you leave us so suddenly like that?

I was on a six month co-op working for IBM. The job was so-so, but I really loved Rochester and I met a lot of fun people while I was doing a musical at the Rochester Rep Theatre.

I thought PA was a huge state, but so is MN. Man, it is like 5 and a half hours from rochester to borup! We could meet halfway in st. cloud. Or you guys could find me an awesome job in Fargo.

Fargo is pretty awesome. You should come work for our IT department. :) And yes, of course I would meet you halfway. When are you moving?

How's tomorrow sound? Can I stay in one of your 27 empty bedrooms?

Sure. Want to do some baby-sitting, long as you're here?

Sure! I used to be really good at sitting on babies baby sitting. But I'm a bit out of practice since I think the last baby that I took care of was my brother (who is now 13).

edit: 15! Geez, where have the years gone.

Before Emmy, I was 12. I thought I was the only one! I was never good at baby-sitting either. I liked playing with the kids, but as I got older, babies just did not appeal to me at all. Don't tell!

Awww, your secret is safe with my entire friends list!

I love babies. Just not when they scream and wake me up. :-P

Emmy would never* do that.

*And by never, I clearly mean always.

Hmm. I've gotta think, but I bet I can top it (especially if I include my childhood moves).

-Born in Benld House #1
-Moved to grandma's house in Gillespie a few months later
-Moved to Gillespie House #1 a few months or a year later (not sure)

[Parents divorced about 3 years later. I stayed in same house, first with mom, then with mom and new husband. Mom and new husband sold Gillespie House #1 to Dad.]

-Moved to Gillespie House #2 (two blocks away!) with mom and new husband.
-Moved back into Gillespie House #1 with Dad a couple years later, after mom and new husband divorced, mom got new boyfriend and had Summer. While I lived with Dad, Mom and Summer and new boyfriend moved to Dorchester (rural village in same school district).
-Moved in with Mom/Summer/New Boyfriend a few months later.
-Moved about a year later to Benld House #2 (technically an apartment, but called a house to keep my numbering system intact).
-Moved to Gillespie House #3 (this house) Labor Day Weekend 1998.
-Moved to Heitz Hall @ Bradley 8/2003
-Moved back home 5/2004
-Moved to Williams Hall room #1 @ Bradley 8/2004
-Moved back home 5/2005
-Moved back to Williams Hal room #1 @ Bradley 8/2005
-Moved back home 5/2006
-Moved to Williams Hall #2 @ Bradley 8/2006
-Moved back home 5/2007
-Moving to Gillespie House #4 Labor Day Weekend 2008.

Through all those moves, I never once moved out of the school district. Actually, not counting college, I've lived within a 4-mile radius all my life.

For a total of 17 moves. It'd be more if I counted the times my non-custodial parent (at the time) moved while I didn't live with them (which adds at least three moves).
