I tend to catch my typing errors pretty quickly, but I'll typically let people if they mess theirs up. I'm a spelling and grammar fiend!

If I'd tried to make some complex table, or had a lot of html or something and it was whacked out to high heaven, I'd rather fix it. But if it was just a bold word, or just a typo, I really don't care. Usually I'd think you'd know if I was trolling the thread and if so, give a second to fix it, if not, go ahead and comment.

Also, can't someone still delete a comment after it's been replied too? Or not? If so, someone could just do that and repost the comment and then you could repost your comment.

Yes, you can delete, but it shows "(Deleted Comment)" and is not pretty.

I couldn't chose one! That's why I elaborated here! I would do them all under different possible circumstances!

If it was a bad typo, like leaving the "l" out of "clock," I might say something. But probably not. I don't care too much about typos on the internet. I don't correct people's typos in their posts either. ;)

HTML is another story. It just looks messier.

The exception to my answer is neurotica0. I point out/make fun of all her typos I catch, and she does the same for me. That's how we roll.

If I notice a typo, I usually delete my comment and repost the correct version

For the most part I catch all of my errors, so not sure on that one.

As far as for other people, I can usually tell what they mean if they mis-spell something, so I don't really care. If it's way out there, I'll probably just ask them what they meant, lol.

I don't correct people unless it's something significant, and would prefer they treat me that way too

Eh, don't care that much. Unlike sillyliss, I would probably reply immediately to a comment in which the "l" was left out of "clock" so as to preserve the hilarity.

C'mon, typos are so human and can be so fun.

I usually correct my errors if I make a post, because of the red line in Firefox. Like Liss, if it is something really bad like she said 'l' out of clock, I might mention something, but on the interwebs I am not THAT much of a grammar nazi, as long as I can get what they are saying than all is well.

If I lose a few brain cells, because people are TyPiN lYk dIs!111 Then, chances are I won't even be reading that post, nor will I be correcting it. LOL!
