I also got 600 gas points which equals $0.60 off per gallon of gas!!! Definitely nice when gas just hit $2.33.

Much thanks to Kraft for some serious deals this week. I'm set for crackers until after I move! Also, cheese and OJ. The popcorn is for Mike and so are a few other things. I am still reeling over the OJ find.

I try my best to do that. Things like milk, eggs, bread, there aren't really coupons for, so I just know which stores have the best prices for that stuff and go there. Coupons and sales usually go in cycles so when I start running out of something, it usually comes up again.

Do you like the Kashi waffles? I tried them with my free box coupon, but I did not like them AT ALL, so I could send you the $1.50 coupons I have left.

Which brings me to another idea - we should all do a coupon swap! We used to do that with some people my mom worked with. Everyone clips all the coupons they can find. Someone starts an envelope and fills it with all the coupons they have that they won't use and sends the envelope on to the next person, who takes out the coupons they'd use and adds the ones they have that they won't use, and the cycle continues. It's a good way to get coupons you might not normally, since different coupons are often distributed in different areas around the country.

I've never had them before! If I don't like them, Mike will eat them (which is actually the general intention of buying them because Mike likes waffles way more than me).

I don't do much coupon swapping because I never know when I will end up using a coupon. I buy a lot of stuff that I would have never thought I would (like all that BBQ sauce - I hate that stuff) as an ends to a means (getting 5 BBQ sauces helped me get all those gas points in the end). There are a few sites that promote coupon trading (afullcup.com is one).

I was really hoping that I would like the waffles, because they looked good and smelled good, but they were just...not good. My mom ended up eating the rest, but she didn't like them enough for us to buy them again. I might have had better luck with the Strawberry Flax ones (which is what I wanted) but I could only find the blueberry, so that's what I got.

They didn't have the strawberry ones at all, and the honey wheat were completely sold out (probably because THOSE were $1.76 a box instead of $2.10 like the others). I should have gotten a rain check, but I didn't want to go back to Target before the coupons expired (end of the month, I think). I'm thinking of opening a box now to try!

Wow man, are you really going to eat 9 boxes of crackers and five bottles of bbq sauce before they go bad?

I should take pics of my cupboards and inside my fridge/freezer sometime. Your pics here combined are more stuff than I have at any typical time in my apartment. :-p

The crackers are good until October, so probably yes. I go through 2 boxes a month by myself (more if I am on a crackers-and-cheese-kick) & Mike goes through them like water. (Also, those are just the boxes I bought this week - I have 6 still in the cupboard).

As for the BBQ sauce, most of it is going to the food pantry since I can't stand even the smell of the stuff (ever since you and your BBQ noodles), but I'm keeping 1 or 2 bottles for when I make something and Mike says "where's the BBQ sauce?". :-P They don't expire until late 2010, so I think I'm good there. :-P

Yup, our grocery shopping routines are pretty much complete opposites.

I just want to say I haven't had bbq sauce myself in many months. :-p I've had a half full bottle in my fridge since approximately *last* October. :)

Your Crystal Light singles are seriously $3.99? If so, that is the first food thing I've seen that's cheaper here.

Crystal Light drop-in things are about that price normally here, yes. I love the Pink Lemonade, I usually now just buy the Wyler's Pink Lemonade Drop Ins from the $1 store. Same taste!

They're $2.49 here when they're expensive, quite often they're on sale for $2.

Yeah, they were not on sale, but with the coupons, it brought it down to $2 a box so I wanted to get some for our vacation (to flavor crappy water).

Right now we have a huuuuge stack of 50 cent off coupons to use because they were giving out samples of their new tea blends at Walmart on the weekend. I have it in my lunch at work every day so my mom definitely took a ton of coupons because htey're good until the end of September.

I am still floored that something is cheaper in Canada!

Did you get some coupons from coupons.com? I printed a ton from there & some of stuff looks familiar like the BBQ sauce & crackers.

Yup! The coupons.com coupons usually "reset" at the beginning of the month.. but this time they reset 2x in one week! That is how I had so many. I would have had more if I had been paying more attention (usually I print at work and then at home, but I missed a computer a few times). I've still got a pile of coupons that I printed that I am waiting to match to a sale (bunch of jello coupons to use at walmart, too).
