I've had blockbuster for 3 months, and I had netflix for 6. Here's my pros/cons lists....

Blockbuster: watched an average of 7 discs per month
Pros:
Can drop off discs at store for slightly faster turn around (3 days instead of 4).
Big name, sometimes get in-store promotions (free 2-disc American Gangster, % off of online purchases).

Cons:
Website lags, lots of issues.
No free-online viewing
4 day turn around for movies

Netflix: watched an average of 14 discs per month
Pros:
2 day turn around for movies
Excellent website, no lag and can keep it open for long periods of time
Can watch movies for free online

Cons:
About 1/month - discs shipped were either damaged or incorrect (Gallagher instead of Gilmore Girls, Little Shop of Horrors debacle, chipped, very scratched)

For me, Netflix wins - plus, I will probably be upping my discs out at a time and canceling my cable channels after Stargate: Atlantis is over.

I just finished up watching Gilmore Girls. I really liked the ending. I'm probably going to watch chick flicks for a little while, but then I'll pick up another TV show on DVD (through blockbuster this time). Here's where you come in. What should I watch next?
