Moore's Law was created in 1965 by Gordon Moore. It has accurately predicted the trend of the amount of transistors that can be present on an integrated circuit. From Wikipedia: "
Moore's Law is a driving force of technological and social change in the late 20th and early 21st centuries."
And now
Gordon Moore himself is saying that his "law" will soon be obsolete.Moore's Law was taught to us in Computer Concepts class Freshman year of college (this was 6 years ago).
It's freaky to me that in another 20 years, this will be taught in the History of Computing instead of a core class. It gives me chills that we are all here - connected to the internet - and observing and participating in history! Who'da thunk it?
