St. Patrick's Day Parade

The parade was wicked awesome and so much fun. After the parade, we went to Stock's on Second for drinks & dinner. Great food and an interesting place. Hadn't been there before. Mike came back here afterwards and we watched Across the Universe. Weird movie. Not sure if I liked it or not, but it was cool the way they fit the beatles music in there. I don't think I'd want to watch it again, though.

I got a bit sunburned on my face and I'm totally beat now. I'm going to go to bed.

Tomorrow is Palm Sunday! I'm rehearsing for my Holy week solos after church and then I'm going to attempt to take some time to do my taxes. ,

sorry for the nosiness, but...
Not enough details. ;-p Did your family and/or Mike watch the parade? What division were you in? Not behind any horses I hope? :-p Was the weather nice? Was it at all windy? The sunburn may be partially windburn, I always got that when I was in band even if it wasn't really that windy. Did you go for food and drinks with the other tap gals or your family?

Well, glad it was awesome! :)

Hey, give me a break! I was tired & sunburn! (now I'm just one of those)

- Mom & Mike came - they took pictures & video! I'll try to get those up at some point.
- I was in the 2nd division. The only horses were at the very beginning of the parade & they clean up after them as they go along if necessary.
- It was beautiful & slightly breezy. The forcast was for cold and rain, though, so we had all been instructed to bundle up & there was no thought of sun screen. :-( Mike & Mom got hit, too from sitting & watching.
- We went allllll went to Stock's on Second - the place was full with tap pups. But Mom decided she wanted to sit at a real table to eat, so after having a drink with the girls, we got our own table to eat dinner.

Re: sorry for the nosiness, but...
And how come you are so noisy, but you never write about anything that is going on with you?? What happened to a post about work? And what's with no posting about all your business?

Oh okay!

I actually just posted a 'meme' of sorts asking for non-common-for-myself post topics. :-p
