At home...

Okay, so I drove the whole way from Rochester to Hummelstown... about 5 hours... we stopped at the Turkey Farm for gas... and my mom and I listened to Beethoven's Last Night (TSO) and then my Billy Joel compliations... that was fun... she couldn't believe that I could play some of the stuff. :-)

Sunday. Church this morning was good... I love the chanting... I miss it so much, I just weep through the whole service... which made it difficult to sing, since my non-cold cold is starting to catch up with me(I'm sooooo horse... I don't sound like myself to me) After church, I had another half of DiBella's sub and some preztels and then I played piano... and then I went to a Benefit concert at the high school... very good. The Jazz Band ROCKS! I've never seen/heard anything like it... they did "Vehicle" and "Rock Around the Clock" and "Stand By Me"... then a variety of teachers and facutly/staff from the district performed stuff.. very good.. very funny... And a group called "After Five" from Millersville University... who apparently don't have a website since I've been looking for one for the past half an hour.. oh well... they were very good. :-) And cute. (ooh... I said that out loud!)

And then this evening I attended the premire for Hershey's Centenial Celebration! The town is now 100 years old... very cool... and so much as happend! They made a movie(http://www.hershey100.org) and the Hershey Community Big Band and the Hershey Community Choir both performed... it was really quite good... and it was in the Hershey Theater, and I love that place (graduated there!).. so that was nifty... got a whole tin of chocolate bars on the way out too.. I couldn't believe the stuff they were giving away! Really nice since the show was free! :-)

And after that we went to Pizza Hut for dinner... every time I eat their pizza it reminds me that I don't like it all that much... kinda ironic. But I do want to try the new golden pizza.. stuff crust, and then extra cheddar cheese melted out the outside of the crust... my mom said it sounds like a round heart-attack. Yummy! :-P

Sounds like I'm in charge around here for the next couple of days, too... my parents are going to VA to have a meeting with the lawyer... what a mess(don't get me started since I really have no clue what's going on and I've only heard half of every story...). So I'm in charge.. and I've got the car. But I'm not supposed to use it. I'm not allowed to pick up my sister at the high school, but I can bring my brother to his piano lessons... whatever the reasoning is behind that. Driving to the elementary school you have to cross a 4 lane highway... driving to the highschool, granted takes longer, but is "easier" in the long run.. whatever. My dad's logical circuits are fried. :-P

Also, that either means I'll be online a lot or NONE the next couple days.. I have to find something to do... maybe I'll go to the bank and run a few errands or something... I don't know what there is to event do around here... blah. Good luck to me.. I'll just be bored... it's not even like the kids'll be here to amuse me, either... I'm supposed to do wash, though... joy of joys. :-P Okay, so this is getting really long and I'm tired... well, my fingers are starting to hurt... this keyboard is abit less forgiving than mine... strange since they are the same for the most part, but I don't think this one is broken in properly. Oh well.

I love fun stories!! I don't get any of my own anymore, so do you mind if I live vicariously through you?
