Ice Storm.

So we had a pretty good ice storm here, too. I got my first skinned knee since about 3rd grade after I slipped on some black ice behind/in front of the library. Thanks to those guys who noticed and asked if I was okay. ;-)
Anyway, here are some pictures that I took out my window this morning.... I always wondered why most people take the screens off of their windows in the winter......

These were after I cracked the ice with my finger.

If anyone wants a full size high-quality version of one of these for a background or something, let me know. :-)

Very Purty! It's 50 down here. Windy and raining...

Well ya know, even if you had removed the screen, the window would have the same pretty design on it. :-P Well, maybe not windows, but our glass storm door looks the same as your screen. Maybe windows that are warm on one side wouldn't let the ice accumulate though.

True, but....
1) I could then open the window and look out side.
2) I'm slightly worried about the screen ripping.

There is about an eighth of an inch of ice on the doors to the interfaithcenter... and also on the side of the building. Quite amusing. :-P

Re:
True, but....
1) You would get cold.
2) I don't think you'd be liable.

:-P

1) Don't you think I got cold having the window open to take the pictures?
2) I'd still have to go through the hassle of getting the screen fixed.

:-P
