This is one of my favourites....

Steven Spielberg was discussing his new project. It's a drama about
famous composers, starring top stars. Sylvester Stallone, Steven Segal,
Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger were all present. Spielberg was
prepared to allow them to select whatever composers they would portray,
as long as they were very famous. "Well," started Stallone, "I've
always admired Mozart. I would love to play him." "Chopin has always
been my favorite, and my image would improve if people saw me playing
the piano," said Willis. "I've always been partial to Strauss and his
waltzes," said Segal. Spielberg was very pleased with these choices.
"Sounds splendid." Then, looking at Schwarzenegger, he asked, "Who do
you want to be, Arnold?" So Arnold said, "I'll be Bach."

Jersey Shore weekend

Friday:
Got out of work approximately noon-ish. Didn't hit any traffic the whole way down the parkway(a miricle) and I was on the beach by 3pm. :-D And that's where we stayed. Went back to the house to have snacks and then order a pizza. Drove Dad to pick up pizza. Good pizza.

Saturday: Rode our bikes to the Sand Trap to play mini-golf. I've come to the conclusion that the beach is THE best place to play mini-golf. One, they actually maintain their courses. Two, there are tons of places around so that keeps the prices down. Three, I love the Sand Trap(okay, so I couldn't think of a Three). Anyway, I did a heckuva lot better than when I played last time, which was what I was aiming for(looked more like a golf score than a bowling score. :-P ). Rode bikes back. Had lunch, went to the beach. Went to Morrison's for a late dinner. Got a window table, watched boats go in and out of the bay. Had Red Snapper(delish) and tried everyone elses meal. I think I liked Liz's Shrimp Parm(over linguine) the best. Very good. Went home and dropped Albert and Carol off because Albert was a dead-man-walking. Then we walked to Dom's to get ice cream only to find out that they closed 15 minutes before we got there. bah. Oh, well.

Sunday:
Went to Bageleddie's with Dad. Got bagels and Crumb-buns. Also stopped at Ferrara's(Fa-rare-ahs!!!!!) and got massive appel fritters.. they must have been a pound each, we got two and end up cutting them into 6-8 pieces each. Went back to the house. Ate breakfast. Packed up some of my stuff. Went to the beach. Went in the water. Very cold... very fun. :-) Finished my book(Stranger in a Strange Land). Saw dolphins out in the water. Got a shower. Packed the rest of my stuff. Ate "lunch" at 3pm. Had some very yummy strawberry rubarb pie. Said goodbye. Had pictures taken in front of the house. Said goodbye again. Finally drove away. Stopped at OH Fudge for Salt Water Taffy. Stopped for gas at the Sunoco for $1.36/gallon. Got on parkway. Home by 6:40. :-)

I so did NOT want to leave the shore! working sucks. :-P
It's nice writing about sitting on the beach, it doesn't take as much effort. :-)

No O

I've decided to stay in NJ this weekend. So no O or Lasagna for me. :-/ I need a weekend to work on some stuff that I've been putting off and to relax. :-)

Although, if anyone knows of anything going on in Northern NJ this Friday or Saturday nights... you know I'm interested. ;-P

Edit: I changed a few minor things(Stresses) because I realized that they occured 2-3 years ago, and not within the last year. I got a drastically different score. Wow.
