Caffeine has been associated with increasing stress levels. So, especially during the holiday season, keep caffeine intake to a minimum. Also, remember that if consumed late in the day caffeine can interfere with sleep patterns. Fact: Caffeine has a half-life of an average of four hours, meaning it will take your body four hours to rid itself of half the amount of caffeine that you have consumed. After eight hours, your body will contain one-quarter of the original amount and, after 12 hours, your body will still contain one-eighth of what you first drank.
I'm up late again. Watched Commander-in-Cheif and L&O:SVU. I wanted to go to bed at about 7 and now I'm awake. Which means I'll want to sleep way in again. arg.
Karin's computer is doing strange things. All her personal files (recipes, resume, pictures) are completely gone. Don't know what happend. Something with java and yahoo games, possibly. System Restore did nothing. Tried running a defrag and it eventually brought the system to it's knees with a nice blue-screen-of-death. I hate Windows ME.
I didn't even get to touch my cross stitch tonight because of the computer problem. d'oh
Had pork stir fry for dinner. Was yummy. The stir fry part did a good job of hiding the pork part. :-P I'm thinking of having the leftovers for lunch.
I need to go shopping, but not tomorrow. Tomorrow is HOCKEY! :-D More hockey is awesome. However, attending an ice hockey game when it is 70 degrees outside is annoying and sad. Even the snow in my beloved Rochester has melted. It makes me want to cry. How come an un-winter-like winter makes me depressed? gah
