THIS PROVES ALCOHOL AND MUSIC DON'T MIX...

*PUN ALERT*

The orchestra conductor had been having problems with the bassists;
they were the least professional of his musicians. It was the last
performance of the season, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, which required
extra effort from the bassists at the end. Earlier that evening, he
had found them celebrating a birthday by passing around a bottle. Then,
as he was about to cue the bassists, he knocked over his music stand.
The sheet music scattered. So he stood in front of his orchestra, his
worst fear realized: It was the bottom of the 9th, no score and the
bassists were loaded.

I've got another orchestra pun
So one day an orchestra is practicing and the cellist misses a note, so the conductor shot her. He gets sent to death row and as his final meal asks for and eats a whole bucket of bananas. When he was strapped into the electric chair and they flipped the switch, nothing happened to him, so they let him go on the 8th. He got his old job back but lost it when he impaled a clarinet player with a music stand. Again he was sent to the electric chair, again he had alot of bananas as his last meal, and again nothing happened. He managed to get his job back again (he intimidates his boss for some reason) and repeated the process leading to the electric chair surviving again. This time the executioner finally asked him "So what's the bananas?" and he responded "Oh, the bananas have nothing to do with it, I'm just a lousy conductor."

Interesting shortened version of the original. :)

By the way, how many bass players does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Select text for answer —> None. The piano player can do that with his left hand! <—
