whoa.

Firefox just crashed. And when I opened it back up, it recreated my last session exactly. (3 instances all with the correct tabs) I am completely in awe.

it is the first program to REALLY REALLY impress me in a long time. I'd pay for firefox if they charged for it.

BTW, try the extension 'Super Drag and Go'

http://update.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=137&vid=266

What it does is if you click on a link and drag it a little, then let go, it will open the link in a new tab. Basically if you go to a web page like CNN and see a bunch of stuff you're interested in, just give each item a little 'tug' and you have them all loading in new tabs. Great stuff.

Sure...
That's great, but why not just middle click?

Re: Sure...
I have a middle mouse button, but it is not ergonomically cool to try and use it. hmmm.. and who made it? IBM. way2go guys.

as it should since you've only got one mouse button! What's that about!?!

No middle mouse button. I run a track ball that reserves the middle click (which is really clicking the two buttons on either side at the same time) for autoscroll. I didn't realize you could use a mouse middle click to open a new tab.

Come to think of it, even my old mouse's middle click was depressing the scroll wheel, which was used for autoscroll too. I don't think I'd like clicking a link with the scroll wheel anyway. The drag seems more intuitive to me.

S'ok
My extension of choice is mouse gestures. Middle-click and drag in various shapes to do stuff.
