Quiz! Okay, so this one is actually useful.

My results:

Your money personality is: Balanced

People who exhibit a balanced money personality style enjoy making and managing money. They may view budgeting and investing as a game of sorts.

Money is viewed as a tool that is used to achieve ones goals.

While they often have a budget, Balanced persons do not become overly uncomfortable with the occasional unforeseen expense or in purchasing the occasional luxury item.

Balanced persons often feel that diligence, research and effort will reward them in the end.

If they invest, Balanced persons tend to have balanced portfolios and are often comfortable seeking advice from financial managers.

I haven't taken it yet, but when I do I'll predict my result:

F-- : You're completely and utterly stupid with money.
You don't keep it organized, you spend too much, and don't respect it. You love having it to spent but hate earning it. In fact, you would get along well in a Communist society. Go kill yourself.

Your money personality is: Big Spender
Big Spenders like to buy things for themselves and others for immediate gratification. They often have a hard time developing and maintaining a budget and may in fact find the concept to be bizarre.

Big Spenders will often have a very high level of credit card debt and often times feel a compulsion to spend money or buy things."I see something and I just have to have it" is something you will often hear Big Spenders say. Some Big Spenders are literally addicted to shopping and feel powerless to stop on their own.

Big Spenders are often susceptible to get rich quick schemes as ways to solve their problems, which sadly oftentimes lead to more debt. Big Spenders usually have difficulty in planning for the future. In certain cases this can cause high anxiety for their families.

I'm gonna predict that I'm a frugal money grubber who feels guilty buying anything that's not a straight up necesity.

sort of
Your money personality is: Binge Spender

The Binge Spender often has a budget and may be able to follow it for extended periods of time. However, binge spenders have periods in which they overspend. Binge spenders may rationalize their behavior in terms of rewarding themselves (e.g. "I have been working so hard lately that I deserve to splurge on myself"). Other times their overspending may function as a stress reliever in reaction to an emotional crisis. Some Binge Spenders report feeling powerless when the urge to shop or spend comes over them.

Binge spenders often have a large amount of credit card debt. When asked what they used their credit card for, Binge Spenders will often be unable to cite anything more specific than "stuff". They are often ashamed of their spending habits and sometimes will go to great lengths to hide them from loved ones. Guilt and disappointment are emotions that Binge Spenders may experience after buying something.

I'm balanced as well, although I don't have nearly the financial strains and resources that make this quiz accurate. It's about right though. I save more than spend whenever I can. =)
