(A) A series of books -- A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin. Start with A Game of Thrones

1. Why did you choose your current major?
2. Will you ever forgive me for persuading you to co-op at IBM?
3. If you were a subatomic particle, which one would you be?

(C) Okay!

1. Well, I can say I didn't choose IT because "duuuurrr... I wnat to make teh interweb." No. I really find the interaction between humans and technology fascinating and I think that it is important that we properly utilize our current technology while expanding and creating new technology. There are so many cool things you can do with computers.... But I'd rather work on the human interaction (UI type stuff) end than the LETS STAY UP LATE AND HAVE A PROGRAMMING PARTY end. Plus, I have social skills. I like to use them. I could go on, but I'll stop.
2. Yes, while my job at IBM wasn't what I was looking for, I made so many friends outside of work.... I wouldn't have passed that up for anything.
3. Uhhhh.... I shall pretend to know what you are talking about. Quarks. Quarks are really cool. Because they start with Q and Q is my favourite letter. Because it uses the buddy system!

a) 1) Shrek 2, although you've certainly seen it 2) The Number of the Beast by Robert A. Heinlien [since we're recommending Heinlien at each other...] 3) James O'Brien's "Black Helicopters"

b) 1) What is it like to have a single drive/focus? 2) What is one fact about you that most people wouldn't expect? 3) What is my most glaring error/fault?
Nov. 17th, 2004 06:29 pm (UTC)
1) I think you need to explain your question further.
2) Um. 8/10 of the guys I've ever like turned out to be gay.
3) ...... uuuuuuhhh... your journal is all gray and boring. :-P

1) It appears to me that you may have a dual drive, but I see it as one... your attention to spirituality and singing. They seem to be your all. I'm a bit more unfocused, and yet, I think focused on being unfocused, if that makes sense?

And Gray is an awesome color! And backgrounds on lighted screens should have no hue.

I would definitely say I have more than one focus, but I definitely know what I want and then I go with it.... no matter where it takes me.... I guess that's part of my spirituality, though - more so resently. Although, having this focus makes becoming unfocused EXTREMELY unnerving and freaky. Like I'm not myself.

(A) 1| "Pay it Forward" 2| "Best Friends", can't remember the author 3| I will make you listen to "Dream Girl" when we get back here. 8-Þ

(B) 1| Why is it so hard to think of stuff to ask you? 2| would you like to go to dibella's sometime during the first week or so back? 3| Did you know?
Nov. 17th, 2004 07:38 pm (UTC)
1. Because you know all the answers
3. Well, at first, I didn't know. But then I realized there were clues scattered throughout the universe, so I began to be more perseptive and try to put together those cluse. It was a long, tiring process, and it involved lots of googling, traveling to minnesota, and playing neopets. Eventually, I began realize that it was more of a puzzel than a mystery. And it was well worth it, because now I know.

So there. :-P Except I still can't spell.

A. 1. Movie: Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World 2. Book: American Soldier by (Ret.) Gen. Tommy Franks, US Army, USCENTCOM 3. Musical Artist, Song, or Album: Linkin Park's Meteora album

B. 1. If you could be a video game character, who would it be and why? 2. Would you ever try and talk to me again, in any communications medium? 3. Do you think I'm improving, after everything that's happened., and if not, what, in a constructive manner, do you think I can still work on?
Nov. 21st, 2004 03:20 pm (UTC)
1) I want to be the square tetris block. because I'm square.
2) Being that I haven't been forced to be in a room with you for a good six months, I can't really say.
3) Again, can't say. I would say, though, that no matter how far someone has come, they can always come further. Did you know every RIT student has access to the counciling center? They are really awesome there and have helped a lot of people that I know. I would highly suggest checking it out. Even if it's just to talk to someone who has an objective point of view.
