Music:yeah, the guy definitely had nature on him...
And I didn't think I'd have another tourist story!
I took Albert to Friendly's for sundaes(BOGO coupon!) today after he helped me out with a particularly back-breaking errand. Before we left, we were checking out the ice cream in the case and reminiscing about the days of the Watermelon Roll ice cream/sherbet(they didn't have any, but I hope they still make it!). So, we were standing around kinda blocking the entrance and then we started to leave. At that moment, a rather scraggly looking man walks in and I thought he was going to let us go past him through the door way (my first thought was that we were going to be accosted!), but he started talking to me and asking me where the closest campground was and if "this was a good place to eat".... turns out they were from Michigan, were pulling a pop-up camper, and had 2 flat tires so far on their trip -- NO WONDER he looked so worn out.. but I don't know if that's an excuse for his shirt being inside-out and backwards (the tag was on the outside in the front...). :-P I directed him towards Hershey Highmeadow Campground and they proceeded to leave. I ended up following them out of the parking lot (only after their dog barked at Albert and their son stared us down).. and they drove to the K-mart instead of the campground... I sure hope they found it alright... looked like the lot of them could have used showers.
And that concludes my first real post in a long time.
