No one likes to think about the inevitable. But if you're not an organ donor, I urge you to become one.

There is plenty of misinformation surrounding organ donation. Today's site will debunk the myths and help you make the right decision. It certainly put to rest some questions I had.

Read some of the stories about organ donation. They really put the matter into perspective. Once you've made your decision, it's important to make it known. There's information to help you with this. You can even print out a donor card.

If you have friends or family who aren't organ donors, share this site with them. It was because of a family in Florida whose 17-year-old son died in a car accident that I have some sight in my right eye. They donated his corneas and I was the recipient of one. Ive always wanted to tell them, Thank you.

And don't forget to tell your family!

As of now, even if you sign your donor card, it's not enough to make your wishes take effect.

My cousins other gf had a heart transplant. For about a year before it, they thought he might die... That was 12 years ago.

The familes apparently met and it ended up that they went to the same church or something... freaky.
