no cents.

I just came back from the corner store where I was comparing prices of orange juice.
Okay, same brand, same orange juice, different sizes.
A Quart(4 cups) is $1.09
Half a Gallon(8 Cups) is $3.76(or something close to that).

Now, half of 3.76 is 1.88 and twice 1.09 is 2.18. What exactly are they trying to pull here? I got 2 quarts. :-)

Smart Girl. :)
Yup. When shopping at the Corner Store, always keep an eye out on ways to get past them with sneaky, underhanded tricks to save cash. :)

The trick is items that only come in one size. Never EVER buy Keebler Soft Batch cookies there! Those suckers are $3.89 a BAG!

Advantage of having a car #1:

Going to the grocery store and not going there by bus. (sucker only runs on weekends and Thursday! who needs to go shopping then? they close early!)

Although I noticed that too. :) Too bad I just go for the quart a time method. :)
