Happy Birthday Daniel! :)

Oh man, I watched 'Wifeswap' last night (don't ask me why :-p). One of the families that swapped were pirates. Supposedly the guy that 'created' this day. No, not acted like pirates... I thought initially they were just part of one of those acting troupes or like pirate reenactors. But SO much more. They actually *lived* their lives like pirates, called themselves and each other by their pirate names, kept their pirate clothes on daily. 'Pirattitude' which means you live like you want to, a kid wants to swear cool, etc... It was honestly *scary*. The poor woman who was swapped there spent the night in a hotel because of the fleas. Ick. :-p Anywho, it just about turned me off to pirateness for awhile, yiikes, I wouldn't want to be associated with that family. :-p I had no idea the 'talk like' day was today. Probably why the episode aired yesterday. hehe.

Okay, that was a fun rant. :-p Moral of the story,, don't watch wifeswap if you still want to think 'pirattitude' is cool in any way shape or form. :-p

I don't think it's an act. I linked to that article too. Did you read it? That's how they live, in a dirty, flea infested house where they let their kids do anything they please (except cuss out their teachers)... 'pirattitude'. The other family in the episode was wicked extreme in the contrast so not exactly normal either, but I'd rather live with them than the pirates. :-p

I'm sure it'll air again at some point, if you really want to see it.
