Catching up..

Well, I worked the opening shift for 7days in a row... that means being up and at work by 7:30 or 8am... (depending on the day of the week)... well, today, I slept in 'til 8am! Yea! And I don't have to go to work 'til 2pm today... which is cool. It means I have to close and probably be at work 'til about 10:30pm, but I have Thursday and Friday off, so it's all good. :-)

My mom and I are having a race... well, atleast I'm racing her.. We are both reading the same book, ( Little Alters Everywhere, by Rebecca Wellls) and I want to finish before her! It was my idea first! I started it as soon as I finished LotR on Monday. I'm not sure when she started it, but she started after me. It's a short book, but it's really good(only about 200 pages)! And it's funny, 'cuz I read it during my breaks at work.... I'm sitting in the lunch room reading this one part where the main character walks in on her aunt and her dance teacher(both female, FYI) getting it on. Let me tell you, it was funny... mostly because I know people at work think I'm a geek for reading during lunch... heheh... they know nothing. :-P

I am such a klutz. On Monday I walked in to one of the 4-way displays and now I have this big bruise on my left arm.... and yesterday I stood up into a really sharp corner.. and let me tell you that smarted, no matter how stupid it was! Luckily, no bruise on my shoulder.
I have 19 e-mails, 13 of which.... crap. Lovely. :-P

Time to get going... I'm helping my mom at the food pantry this morning! :-)

Aww... a geek for reading @ lunch? Hehe... That's all most people I work with do on break... But then again we're all tour guides which is geeky enough to begin with. What is that book about??

It's about... well... It's really difficult to explain while still doing justice to the essence of the book. Read "The Devine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood." by Rebecca Wells. Then read Little Alters Everywhere... even though the latter was written first the former should be read first. All I can say is that it is about the inhumanity of humanity. To say the least. It's phanominal. It's amazing. This is a book for Chicks(although, men can get a lot from it, too). Read it, devour it, enjoy it. And then you can thank me.
