The Evening

It took me an hour to get home from work instead of the usual 15 minutes. I did stop to pick up my perscriptions, but that should have only added 5 minutes. I did not see a single plow on all the roads on which I traversed. Phooey on them.

I did some stitching when I got home (and after I was done with work stuff) and then I was informed that I was "making dinner" which actually involved heating up stuff that Dad picked up at the store. Albert's friend and band-mate (one person) is over for the weekend (woo). The coolest thing about Dakota is that he usually sides with us and not with Albert. Mostly because Albert is usually wrong but won't admit it because of course he is always right. Which is hilarious. Other than that, I don't really like Dakota that much. But I digress.

After I did the dishes, I went back to stitching and I watched Brigitte(?) Jones: The Edge of Reason (which is a highly ironic title). I only have the cow's head left and then I will be finished! Sweetness.

There are only 2 things that could have made tonight perfect: 1) me actually cooking something and 2)trading everyone else in the house for Mike. :-)

Whoa, I'm a dork. I'm going to bed now. Somehow I think that Jen will not be visiting tomorrow. I better turn my phone on in case she calls. If she doesn't, I'd better call her when I get up.

An almost perfect night? I didn't know such things existed. Wow, everyone else in the house must be pretty special. :-p
